Tavi is Home

Tavi Gevinson was traveling around the US promoting her book, The Rookie Yearbbok One, but now she is home! Home to Tavi is Oak Park Il.. And tonight Tavi is going to talk about her journey and her new book at Unity Temple in Oak Park tonight at 7.

I, of course will be there. Being as this post is on my fashion blog and that’s how she started. This morning I was talking to my grandma about Tavi and everything she’s accomplished. My gram said, “It’s funny how some things just take off,” and that’s exactly what happened to Tavi’s blog.

It’s crazy how many writers are out there blogging about fashion, and of course everyone thinks they’re an expert. Truth is I admire the 16 year old. She knows what she talking about, designers send her samples, and she’s been invited to New York Fashion Week multiples times. The dream of a fashion blogger.
